What is ME-Earthwise™ Group and why is it important?

ME-Earthwise™ Group is a growing consortium of window manufacturers that look to solve the issue of installing windows in a permanent location while capturing the value of economies of scale. National coverage allows for purchasing power and state of the art technology. Local representation allows for tailoring products to specific climate zones and geographic locations.

What region does ME-Earthwise cover?

Mercury Excelum serves from Connecticut and Massachusetts up through New England.

Can I get pricing through the Online Ordering web page?

Contractors with open accounts at Mercury Excelum can get pricing through the Online Ordering web page.

Can I order in Spanish?

Mercury Excelum has staff on hand to help with Spanish speaking customers.

How far will Mercury Excelum deliver?

Mercury Excelum offers delivery, for a fee, up to 50 miles from our East Windsor, CT. location.

 

Can I pick up my order at Mercury Excelum?

Yes.  Orders may be picked up at our ME-Earthwise location.

How long will ME-Earthwise hold my order?

One of ME-Earthwise’s strengths is to provide orders when they are needed.  In order to maintain a proper flow, we ask that an order be shipped within two weeks after completion.

What is included in a typical installation?

Factory Installation includes: site measurements, removal and proper disposal of existing products, installation of new products, confirmation of proper operation, exterior trim and sealing with approved sealants.

Will ME-Earthwise measure my windows for me?

The installer should measure for proper window sizes. Other contractors provide this service for a fee.

 

Is ME-Earthwise certified to perform EPA Lead Safe Installation Methods?

Yes, we are certified to perform EPA Lead Safe Installation methods.

What is the standard warranty period for windows and doors?

Please see specific warranties for specific products.

Is there anything the installer could do that would void the warranty?

Yes.  An incorrectly installed product can lead to stresses and strains the product was not designed for.

What is the parts policy under warranty?

Replacement parts covered under warranty that are so designated are available at no charge.

The consumer has three options as to the labor required.

  1. If brought to our ME-Earthwise location there is no charge for labor.
  2. Replacement parts can be sent to the consumer for replacement on site.
  3. A qualified service technician can provide and install the parts for a fee.
What do I do if the window or door doesn’t fit?

All of Mercury Excelum products are custom made to the contractor’s specifications.  ME-Earthwise is responsible for providing product according to the order placed.

Do you offer extended warranties?

No.  Warranties are product specific and may not be extended.
